Title Talk: Instruments to treat mental disorder

Manifold high tech, high touch approaches have been evolved in psychiatry to treat many disorders like schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, anxiety disorder, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, stress, alcohol dependence syndrome, etc. This scientific review paper includes instruments such as Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), Electro Convulsive  Therapy, Biofeedback Therapy, Aversion Therapy, Light Therapy, Galvanic Skin Response (GSR), Virtual reality therapy (VRT), Bedwetting Alarm, Chatbot, The external Trigeminal Nerve Stimulation (eTNS), Robotic pet therapy, Robot-Assisted Therapy, Digital pills, Computerized Dermatoglyphics, Microchip Nanosensor, Smart devices, Human stress monitoring smart patches and Electroencephalogram (EEG). This paper comprises of its uses and responsibility of the health care worker while handling these high tech, high touch instruments to treat mental disorders.
